Frequently asked questions

The rate, the payout time, the kit and the contract. If something is not answered here, the number in the footer is answered by a person.
On the Counter plan, nothing a month and 1.6% of each card payment. Shopfront is $29 a month and 1.3%. Multi-till is $79 a month and 1.1%. That is the whole price: no terminal lease, no authorisation fee, no minimum.
No monthly minimum, no statement fee, no charge for a refund. A chargeback costs $12, which is what it costs us. Paying out to a non-domestic account adds 0.4%, and that is the only line most shops never see.
The next morning, seven days a week, including weekends and bank holidays. Everything you take before midnight is in your business account by about 7am.
No. Plans run month to month and you can move up, move down or stop at the end of any month from the account page. The reader is bought, not leased, so there is nothing to send back.
Not to start. Tap to pay works on the shop phone, so you can take a card the day you sign up. A reader costs $39 if you want one for the counter, and it is yours.
Yes. The phone reader works at markets and on delivery rounds, and a payment link can be sent by text or email for anything ordered over the phone.
One till to eight. Florists, barbers, cafes, bike shops, market traders and anyone who has been quoted a rate they could not follow. Above eight tills you want something built for a chain, and we will say so.

Marta Quince
“We were paying a monthly fee, a terminal lease and a rate nobody could explain. Tillio is one number on every card and the money is there when I open up. Cashing up takes four minutes instead of half an hour.”
Fern & Flask, florist
Des Okonjo
“I do three markets a week and the old reader dropped out every time the signal did. This one takes the card on my phone and settles when I get home. I have not turned a customer away since March.”
Hallow Barbers
Nadia Breck
“The bit I did not expect was the invoicing. We do office coffee orders on account, and Tillio chases them so I do not have to. Two weeks off our average payment time.”
